The fifth round of the Global Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health Policy Survey was conducted in 2018-2019. For this survey, the questionnaire was administered online to each member state via WHO regional offices. Each WHO country office was asked to coordinate completion of the survey with the Ministry of Health and other UN partners. Respondents from each country shared original source documents including national policies, strategies, laws, guidelines, reports that are relevant to the areas of sexual and reproductive health, maternal and newborn health, child health, adolescent health, gender-based violence and cross-cutting issues. Cross cutting issues include policies, guidelines and legislation for human right to healthcare, financial protection, and quality of care.

The results of the 2018-2019 Global Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health Policy Survey will be available soon.

The data collection and processing are currently ongoing.  Once finalized, here you will be able to find the responses to the survey (indicators) and the questionnaires in several languages. In addition, there will be a searchable database of source documents.

Data from the 2018-2019 Global Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health Policy Survey are available upon request. While data for a selected set of indicators are available on this site, additional data may be accessed by completing the WHO SRMNCAH Policy Survey data request and sharing agreement.

Please download and consult the RMNCAH Policy Survey Questionnaire from the "Questionnaires" tab above on this page for the full list of questions. In making your selections, please refer to the question numbers in the questionnaire (for example, CC_5, MN_31a, RH_31a, etc. )

Please note, while a group of individuals may complete and submit one data request form, each individual who will access the data must sign his/her own data sharing agreement.

Please submit completed form(s) by email to mncahdata@who.int.  Your data request will be reviewed by WHO for consideration. Requests that do not include signed data sharing agreements from all individuals listed on the data request form will not be fulfilled until all are received.
